Need for Speed Hot Pursuit launches you into a new open-world landscape behind the wheel of the world's fastest and most beautiful cars.

Loaded with action, this game will challenge you to become Seacrest County's top cop or most wanted racer. Ever in a Need for Speed game, you'll be able to play a full career on either side of the law.

Races take place in four environments which differ in atmosphere, with a handful of tracks per environment. The different tracks in an environment are formed by different roads being connected or separated by road blocks. Hot Pursuit, which features weather and day/night variation independent of track, and widely varying environments from snowy mountains over cities to desert, Hot Pursuit 2 tracks have significantly less variation. Hot Pursuit 2 is also the first in the series to lack an in-car view that was available in preceding Need for Speed titles. As with the original, the player also has the option to play as a police officer trying to arrest speeders. To do so the player rams the speeding vehicle multiple times to disable it. The player must turn on their lights and sirens while in pursuit, and they automatically turn off after arresting the suspect. As a Police you can call for a road block, spike strips, and request help from a helicopter to assist in chasing the target vehicle. At the end, the player is awarded for the cars busted.

Daemonica, a murder mystery set in 14th century medieval England in the period following the infamous Black Death.

The majority of the game is "true" point-and-click adventure, with all the elements adventure gamers have become accustomed to, with only a small amount of action (in the form of sword fighting) controlled using the mouse and keyboard. The isometric "top down" view makes it look like a traditional role player.

Your character, Nicholas Farepoynt, is summoned by the Mayor of Cavorn to determine whether the proper man was executed for the murder of his fiance'. Farepoynt has many abilities that make him unique, including being able to commune with and speak to the dead! As the story progresses, you will guide Nicholas throughout the town talking to its citizens (alive as well as dead) and unearthing the underlying plot that emerges.

Solving adventure-type puzzles comes into play and those include riddles as well as object-dependent ones. The most important "quest" involves finding herbs for the making of potions to enhance Nicholas' abilities, heal him or enable him to travel to the "Temple of Sacrifices" in order to question the souls of the dead. Multiple endings provide a replay value.

The adventures in the expansion all take place on the island of Solstheim, a land rich with both opportunity and danger. Since I hate being called a spoilsport, I won’t go any further into the plot, as it’s really something you have to experience to truly enjoy.

While the gameplay in Morrowind was very open and encouraged exploration, Bloodmoon practically drags you through the storyline with missions and quests designed to give you a sense of purpose as you explore the mysterious island. Your early quests are pretty easy, with you helping to establish a new mine on the island and trying to find out why the local militia is so upset with their leadership. Later quests get much deeper and darker, especially once you’re introduced to your new furry friends.
